I’m Pete, the Funky Booth DJ.
Music’s been my thing for as long as I can remember. I’ve lived through the decades of tunes people still choose for their special moments.
I love all of it, and I love what it does to a room when it feels right and sounds great. People relax, start smiling, and the whole place just comes alive.
Seeing a crowd catch the same beat together is the best part. Feet tapping, heads nodding, then suddenly it’s hands in the air and everyone’s singing the same chorus (if not always in tune).
That’s the power of music. It’s our shared language, and when everyone feels it at the same time, it’s one of those moments people remember for years. That’s what I’m always aiming for.

Before the event
Simple chat, clear plan
You tell me what you’re putting on, who’s coming, and how you want it to feel. We’ll sort the main things like timings, the venue, and any must-plays or definite no’s. Then you can forget about the music and get on with enjoying the build-up.
It’s Showtime
Ready when you are
I’ll arrive in plenty of time, get everything set up, and make sure the sound and lights are doing what they should. I’ll check you’re happy with the levels, so we’re ready to go when you are. And if the odd little hiccup happens, I’ll fix it quickly, usually without anyone noticing

You’ll be dealing with someone who’s well prepared and easy to work with. I’ll be clear on timings, tidy on setup, and calm throughout, so everything feels easy on the day. That means you can just enjoy your event. If there’s something specific you’re looking for, tell me. If I can make it happen, I will.

Most of my bookings are mixed crowds. Private parties, weddings, corporate events. If you’ve got ages all over the place and you want everyone to feel included, that’s my sweet spot. Give me a couple of “musts”, a couple of “absolutely nots”, and the vibe you want, and I’ll take it from there.

I’m based near Bath and I’m usually out in Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire and within about a 60-mile radius of Bath. But yes, I do own a passport.
